Post your greetings & Welcomes here!! This is very exciting.  The start of our forum.  About me then?  Girl, 30 ish.  Gemini moon and ascendant - which makes my head very busy!... and now some thoughts...

[glow=yellow,2,300]The Dark helps us see in the Light.[/glow]
I believe in divine guidance, in a power or reasoning beyond our current comprehensive abilities, how, when and where these processes take place is unknown to many of us. To assume that divine guidance is corralled or even tempered by any linear constraints is to acknowledge our true mis-understanding of these enlightenments. That is to say guidance comes into our life every day in many shapes, sizes and varied ways, some we hear loud and clear, others are more discreet and less succinct, but there nonetheless.

The vessels or processes that are used cannot be pigeon holed in such a way - the basis by which we judge each decision and consequence is sometimes outside of our very reasoning, we cannot apply our human limitations to what is essentially ethereal.

To truly learn from our life lessons we need to be aware of them, open to receiving the messages that are sent to us. How often have you missed a train, spilled a coffee or even broken a nail and then had your first reaction be nothing more than cursing your misfortune. How enlightened each of us would be, if we had the potential to see the experience for what it truly was - a message, a signal, a guide, divination intervention a moment in time where you get to make a choice, it's that simple. You get to choose dark or light? Hindrance or Guidance?

With the power of hindsight mentally go back over your day, see where your days annoyances could have in fact been flashes of illumination. That missed train, enabled you to avoid getting stuck in an elevator for 15 minutes and catching a dreadful head cold. That spilled coffee enabled you to spend time in the wash room removing a stain from a favorite blouse that would be totally inappropriate to wear for an interview for a promotion and finally that broken nail, gave you a laugh and a smile (albeit from frustration) that a young single mother caught, and mistakenly thought you had sent her way, the one smile that was needed to give her the encouragement and hope to continue, yes one little smile, not even with purpose, could have potentially saved a soul. If you ascribe to divine guidance in any shape or form, you cannot place linear thinking and restrictions to it's delivery method. The dark truly does help us see in the light.

Thanks for visiting this brand sparkling new forum and hope you come back again. :)

Welcome and introductions thread Just thought I would register, again you guys rock, what a cool site and now a forum, I've told everyone I know including my mom and she visits many times a day!  I read Tarot and Tea Leaves and am a practising Reflexologist, you should have a section about Alternative Therapies?  What do you think!  I run my own business and I'm constantly out on the road otherwise I would have loved to be a Guiding Light, what a cool name!  Thank you so much for this site it is truly a blessing for everyone who visits.  Merc.

Re: Hi from CA Hello Merc - welcome, gee you're up early or is that late? ???  Anyway so glad you've joined the board, that's a pretty good idea about an Alternative Therapies area - I'll have a think over night and if we get a couple of [s]moderators [/s] Guiding Lights up and running then, yes it is a good idea and I will put it in.

Welcome again!

Introduce myself Hi to everyone on the forum.

I would like to say what a great site this is. I am constantly using the tarot readings on this site. They are very good and i hope what the cards say will come true. Although a litte skepticle about automated readings, so if there are any good tarot readers that maybe would like to do a interpritation of my cards one day or a reading for me, it would be most appreciated. as usuall my questions are always based on love and romance. like any womans wish to find and meet the perfect partner.

Any way all the best to all associated with this site and its a pleasure to be apart of the group.

Im very interested in tarot and would really like to learn more.

Re: Introduce myself Hi girlabroad

Welcome  ;D  So glad you like the site.  Between you and me...  I once tried to see how similiar the readings would be, so I did a reading with my Destiny Lore Tarot cards (the old ones) on the floor in the front room, came in here to my computer and did an online reading and about 80% of the cards where identical - I love the way the universe works - the two cards that were different indicated to me that I needed to be more aware of my surroundings and more appreciative of the Universe! lol  :D  Glad to have you here!

Re: hi there Hi Cathy

Welcome, welcome, welcome!

So glad you enjoy the site - it's funny you know a very close friend of mine said - that newagestore is just like me and it really is - my desk has my computer, my astrology self pace couse books, a book on fortune telling, palmistry, tarot oh there's my A guide for the Advanced Soul book, a ceramic palmistry hand and a crystal ball - it's also covered with cat hair!  I love my journey, it's always interesting and fun.  Sometimes it's not exactly what I would choose, but then if we got to choose our life lessons when we're living them I don't think any of us would learn anything!  Thanks for joining.  Jen

Welcome and introductions thread ;D Hi Loress,

Looks like we are the only two online at the moment. Where are you from. Im in Norway at the moment holidaying with a friend, but originally from the UK, but now living in Cyprus.

Do you read Tarot for yourself.

Re: Good morning Hi girabroad! :)

Cyprus how divine.  I've not been to Norway.  That is the beauty of living in Europe.  I'm in Australia, so we get to choose from vacations in and around Australia - which don't get me wrong is a lovely place, I'd like an occassionally more exotic destination!

Yes, I read Tarot... although I prefer the destiny cards I've had them for such a long time, they seem to know me better than myself.

Do you read?
