Your ruling planet Saturn will now occupy your sector of status, career and how you are seen in the eyes of the world, and remain in this area for approximately the next two and a half years. Saturn however, will be in retrograde motion (backwards) between mid January 2010 and the end of May 2010. Some people achieve their life-long ambitions at this time if they have put in the hard yards and not cut any corners to get there. Some however, lose their position because they refused to follow the rules and do things by the book. Reaping the rewards of your efforts will only happen if you have consistently proven that you are someone who can be relied upon to get the job done. During the retrograde phase it may become apparent that you have wasted your time and attention to reach the top rung of the ladder because you did not follow your true calling in life. During the direct phase (between now and mid January 2010 and again from June 2010 and into 2011) it will be obvious that you are the one who should be in a position of trust and authority. On Monday Mercury clashes with Mars when a dispute may arise with a friend over rightful entitlements linked to a loan, inheritance of joint investment project. On Tuesday Venus forms a helpful link to Neptune making you hugely popular in terms of your position and status in life. Use this to your best advantage when seeking favours from those in positions of power and authority. On Thursday the Sun forms a close link to Mercury that may see you achieve one of your goals due to the help and influence of someone who has a high profile in the big wide world.

Your ruler, Saturn, is exalted in Libra and in square to Pluto in Capricorn all month! Saturn also is aligned with the Dragon even though it has changed signs. On the Full Moon, look for fair judgment regarding all contracts and litigation. Negotiations can prove to be much better than expected. All institutions that are government funded or regulated will be called to the highest integrity. Beware competition in social gatherings that touch your career. At New Moon, you may find yourself seeking allies in the know. Getting good counsel in relationships and business transactions can prove fruitful even if the truth stings a bit. Presentations and even awards are seen if you are willing to step up and take credit for your hard work. Bask in the glow!
