Saturn will now occupy your your sector of income, earnings and the things you value up and remain in this area for approximately the next two and a half years. Saturn however, will be in retrograde motion (backwards) between mid January 2010 and the end of May 2010. Saturn is a very serious and sombre planet and when it comes to financial matters it can restrict and limit this area of your life. You may not be able to make as much money as you would like, or perhaps you work harder and longer hours, just to keep your head above water. During the retrograde phase it may just seem harder to get out of the bed in the morning knowing that it’s all work and no play. During the direct phase (between now and mid January 2010 and again from June 2010 and into 2011) you realise that you have made a work commitment to yourself and you don’t want to let yourself down, let alone anyone else who is counting on you to bring home the bacon. On Monday your ruling planet Mercury clashes with Mars when some angst connected to the past rears its ugly head and sends your brain into overdrive. On Tuesday Venus forms a helpful link to Neptune which can stimulate the desire to earn a living via music, the arts or poetry. On Thursday the Sun forms a close link to Mercury giving you an abundance of confidence to say whatever is on your mind, with great clarity of purpose, and thereby achieving enormous success.

You ruler, Mercury, is kissing the Sun in Scorpio as it forms a fixed T-square with Mars in Leo and the Full Moon in Taurus. Researching investigating and even spying is seen! Keep all sensitive information under your hat unless you have evidence! Jobs may seem less than heroic just now, so balance your life with intrigue in other ways! At New Moon, your ruler has stepped into Sagittarius - a notorious placement for opening up your mouth and inserting your foot!
