Numerology
Numerology is considered to be one of the oldest forms of divination traced back to the Egyptians. Our life revolves around numbers our very birth and consequently death is recorded by numbers. Our days are planned and governed according to numbers and our celebrations are centered around the accumulation of these prized numbers.
The basis of numerology is that a principal number is achieved by adding together the letters in your name and reaching a a primary number. A primary number is a number from 1 to 9 (or 11 or 22 both of which have special significance).
Numerology allows for two separate number calculations:
- Your birth name: now here's where you can see how your life has developed, let's look at Jennifer Aniston for example her birth name is: Jennifer Anastassakis which gives her a birth number of 8 - the number of Karma and trials, she changed her name and now as we know uses Jennifer Aniston which gives her a birth number of 11 - a master number - obviously a better number for those Hollywood screen plays!
- Your birth date: well there's no way to get around it, you can't change this one, that numerology number is stuck with you forever! So let's go back to our friend (no pun intended) Jennifer Aniston who uses a birth name number of 11 and see what her birth date number is:... February 11, 1969 = 2(feb)+1+1(11th)+1+9+6+9(1969) = 29, so let's keep going, remember we need a primary number 2+9=11 well what do you know! I wonder if Ms Aniston had her numbers done before she got her big break. You see whilst we have a name number and a birth date number everything is considered balanced and ideal if both those numbers are the same... so she's got it right!
