Ace of Swords
Briefly: Broaden your horizons and make sweeping changes. Your future is about to move ahead in many and varied ways.
In Detail...
When you draw this card, you are being given the urge to broaden your horizons and make sweeping changes. Your future is about to move ahead in many and varied ways. This card cuts aside those things and people that you no longer need or are relevant to your life. This can also too be a fertility card, so if you are seeking to bring a new baby into the world, this can help to manifest it. It is possible that you may feel like making a new beginning in your life and starting over. You could move house, change jobs, get married or have a new baby arrive. Whichever you choose, it will be a welcome change and one that will require additional energy on your part, however you will more than adequately meet the new challenge. Physically, it could mean that an operation is imminent, and that your health is undergoing some changes. It is possible that something has to be removed, whether that be a tooth or other body part, and it may be replaced with an artificial part. This gives the ability to recover quickly and to get on with the rest of your life. You may also be undergoing major psychological changes where you are feeling more confident and outgoing. You may start becoming more ambitious or self-motivated and ready to take on new challenges and dare to do more than you have ever done before. Luck is on your side.
Present Circumstances
That which influences the general atmosphere or environment (current situation)
Ace of Pentacles
Briefly: You will be surprised to learn that one of your greatest financial wishes is about to come true.
In Detail...
This card shows a large pentacle in the middle which is symbolic of material wealth and abundance. If you should receive this card in your layout, and it is representative of a future event, then you will be surprised to learn that one of your greatest financial wishes is about to come true. This can bring financial stability to those who have never had it before in their life.
Hopes and Fears
That which one coverts that lies deep inside, hopes and fears are but a razors edge apart
Four of Wands
Briefly: Perhaps the family is becoming more important to you or one long distant family member is coming to stay or you are planning to visit their home.
In Detail...
This is a beautiful card to behold. To me it appears that there is a castle in the distance, on a hill-top and the two wands on either side seem to represent the entrance or gateway to this lovely home. The garland of flowers draped over the wands give an impression of comfort, warmth and beauty. For some this card can mean that you are about to move house. The new one will be a significant improvement on the current abode. If you have already just moved, then the emphasis will be on relaxation and a sanctuary way from the hustle and the bustle of city life. A home in the country would be a suitable location to be living in. Serenity and peace will be the mode of daily living. Perhaps the family is becoming more important to you or one long distant family member is coming to stay or you are planning to visit their home, which is probably at a distance from where you are at the moment.

Her home decorating tastes become more luxurious as she gets older. In the meantime she focuses on making her home warm and welcoming. She is ever ready to make anyone a cup of tea and help them relax and unwind. This woman cares about her appearance and may fuss over her hair, clothes and/or makeup. She likes to be pampered and may go to great lengths to achieve this, whether soaking in a bath, having massages, facials etc. She would like the good things in life, good food, good wine and plenty of socializing. Dinner by candlelight would be the way she would prefer to have her meals, with good company and conversation. She can be analytical, but not to the point of taking too long to make up her mind. She is the kind of person you can take your troubles to and she will listen carefully and compassionately to your woes. Her advice, when sought, is wise and well thought out. She does not offer advice unless asked as she knows only too well that people may only want someone to talk to, to air their feelings with and that may be all they really need. She may have gifts in the arts or she could love sewing, knitting or other needlework as she enjoys making beautiful yet practical items. She may dabble in various hobbies until she finds the one or two which she enjoys the most. She probably has very soft hands, despite always keeping them busy. Your life will prosper and you will get most of your needs met, yet give out an abundance of love and caring to many others over the years. If you are not the Empress, then this person is either a close friend or relative, or you are just about to meet her. She will welcome you on first meeting as if you are already old friends. If you are a mature woman, the Empress could become your next best friend. If you are a male, the Empress may become your friend, lover or wife. This can also mean that you are entering a time of prosperity and abundance. Good luck and opportunities may literally just drop in your lap.

Eight of Swords
Briefly: A difficult situation to deal with.
In Detail...
This can be a difficult situation to deal with. There may be restrictions in your life that you would like to be freed from. It is also a mentally stressful occasion that requires clarity of thinking and forethought to resolve. If you keep your wits about you and refuse to be depressed you will manage to sail through this time with flying colours and be amazed at your strength of will when you have come out of the other end of the fog and retrospectively look back on how well you handled yourself and the dilemma you had faced. Endurance is the key to coping right now and your decisions may have far-reaching consequences. You will find you have matured throughout the process of dealing with your problems. You may have to let go of relationships and friendships and this will prove to be an unburdening for you and allow you the freedom to pursue your own goals. Do not be dismayed by these goodbyes, for they are a necessary part of your new path to follow, unhindered by a lifestyle that had cramped your style and your latent talents. Now you will start to blossom and to produce good works in whatever field you focus on right now. Influence Around You
New influences that enable you to examine your goals
Seven of Swords
Briefly: A home move.
In Detail...
Quite often this card signifies a home move. There is a restlessness that gives the feeling of wanting to move on. If it is not a house move, it could be a new relationship, or one that is a significant relationship, such as your first one, or it has been a long time between relationships, or one that proves important in the long run, such as one leading to marriage. However a small word of caution, find out all you can about this new person, for there could be something secretive about him/her. This can also mean a significant happening or event at night, having to rush off somewhere, to someone's aid perhaps, someone in hospital and/or a time to make quick decisions and act in a hurry, or alternatively you may act in haste during the night. This card has also been known to indicate a robbery. It could be a thief in your home, or any other place where you keep valuables, such as a car or an office. Overall, your life now has the potential to alter in some significant way. You could cut ties with your past, your family or friends and go off on your own path. These changes may be irrevocable and can close the door on your old life to make way for a total transition into a new way of living. Just be sure this is exactly what you want to do. You need to be firm and strong in your decision making now and in the near future.

Two of Pentacles
Briefly: A choice between two options.
In Detail...
This card shows a young man with a cap on his head which has a feather in it. He holds two pentacles, signifying a choice between two options. He is indecisive about where to put his time and his energy. He may also feel that his accumulation of funds needs to be weighed and considered as to where it would benefit him the most in the future. He could be offered two different jobs and will deliberate until he feels comfortable in his decision. He may join the army, navy or some other adventurous form of work. There is likely to be some good news or an offer arrives from overseas. The ocean is in the background signifying that he is a sensitive soul and has great compassion.
Which boils down to: staying or going... That is a BIG help now isn't it?
Well maybe it is... over 23 years you've let your hubby settle into a rut. When most men say I love you... they think they don't have to say it again! When a woman let's a man think it is OK to do or not not do something ONCE, he thinks that it will always be that way. It's like when children, horses, dogs or cats try something ONCE and get away with it, they will think they will always be able to do it (or not do it) and it is really a huge feat to get them to change their mindset afterward. If you blurt out everything that is grieving you now your husband will not understand and he will feel indignant and angry. If you want him to change, you really have your work set out for you. I suggest you read "Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus" and even invest in Christian Carter's online book "Catch Him and Keep HIM" (don't give in to their sales reps for more; that one will suffice). I personally wish I had learned what I did from those books a long time ago. You may also want to read and try out what is set out in another book for your own growth and well being: "The Artist's Way".
The above books are books that I've read and used and I must underline that I receive nothing for recommending them. By the way there is another book that I love, "The Little Prince"published in 1943, by French aviator Antoine de Saint Exupéry which is full of life-lessons if you read between the lines... it makes a lovely gift for men- they are taken aback by it but a "real man" wrote it so they try to understand and often times they do- for example my husband says that I am his one unique rose... you may think that may be neither here nor there for the issue at hand but it is. Your husband has forgotten that you are his unique rose and that he should tend to you with love and affection. You, on the other hand should be doing what a rose does best: blooming. So it has become a spiral downwards hasn't it? You cannot "bloom'' if you aren't tended to and he forgets to tend to you because you aren't "blooming'' for him; and so it goes. Read the books. Enjoy the change in yourself and your life within your framework as it is while it progressively becomes richer and more fulfilling. If your husband wakes up and showers you with love and attention, wonderful. If not, by then you will be ready to move on toward a richer life by yourself and/or not fall into the very same issue with the next gentleman who would warm your heart.
Bountiful blessings!
