I'm hoping I'm not the only one that suffers from concentration issues. I'm not talking about the ability to put your head down and get something done (although it's taken me about 15 years to work out a way to get that sorted out!). I'm talking about your ability to maintain a positive attitude as it relates to your goals.
Whatever your objective it's just so easy to fall back into old habbits. What makes it even harder is that you may be working on breaking habbits of a lifetime - habbits that were perhaps created when you were child. It's really tough isn't it? You learn to think in a particular way and then trying to break that habbit to start thinking in a new way is just really hard work.
A really simple example (one that I hope most people can relate to) is money. If your objective relates to trying to reach a specific financial goal it's just too easy to look at your bank balance and think "there's no way I'm going to get where I want to be".
Here's the catch though... every time you have that thought it gets fed directly to your subconcious and like it or not you are giving it energy. And anything you give energy to is like a beacon to the universe that says "this person wants something!".
If your thoughts are negative then you will attract negative results. It really is that simple.
So how do you break that habbit? Well the first thing is to simply be aware that i happens. You know how you have that inner voice - the one that says things like "I'll never be thin" or "no one will ever love me" or "I'll always be poor"? That voice is really damaging - but it's YOU... it's YOUR VOICE! And the cool thing is that that voice lives in your concious brain - so you have complete control over it.
So next time you hear that voice speaking up - give it something different and positive to say.
Turn it around... turn a negative into a positive. It will take practice and it is hard work. But it pays off... and in my experience most of the time it pays off really quickly. Next time you hear "I don't enough money" stop it dead in it's tracks and instantly pick something positive. Perhaps say "opportunities to earn more money are just around the corner" or even better "I'm so happy and grateful to earn more money".
The thing I love about this is the calming affect it has. Does it instantly put more money into your bank account? Does it automatically make your dream partner pick up the phone and call you? Of course not but it does set your heart at ease and puts the right seeds into your subconcious mind - the mind that the universe listens to. And that means positive changes are on the way.
