Our initial little trials, hiccups and bumps look to have smoothed over. I am much more of the duck on the pond (as opposed to last week where i was flailing about!) so, that gives me still calm on top but peddling like crazy underneath!
- The password error has been resolved.
- The saved readings are back up and available now for the Celtic Spread. I'll give this a week and see what the feedback is, if I do not hear too much then i know a) it's working and b) well no one is encountering any errors, at this point we can turn this "on" for the other readings also.
- All previously saved readings have been imported - if you had a user name on the old site - you can log in with it now and find your saved readings on the myNAS page.
I really, really want to thank every body who wrote in during this last week, and apologise if my replies were delayed.
I did get this question a few times... so i'll answer it here also:
Why?... why did you change the site, I've been visiting for years... now it's different why?
I'm sure after using the site for such a long time you understand that I am a one girl show! Just me and my hubby (and I only get him part time). We had to upgrade the site because it was falling over nearly every day (and randomly kicking everyone off!) - mostly during the busy peak times when those from the Northern Hemisphere were on. The technical answer is.. we were using an outdated microsoft scripting language called ASP, stored in a microsoft access database (many actually - 6 of them!) at last check the database size was close to 1 GIG which equates to hundreds of thousands of records which is well beyond the recommended and supported limits. So this is 10 year old code running in 10 year old applications... essentially we had no choice - you're either growing and improving or slowing and dying

I have for those who have been with us for the last 10 years and begged me for it... created a duplicate of some of the site... you can find it at www.bdivine.com - please not this will not be supported and you may encounter many more bugs over there, however this was a request as such I have it for you!
This blog will be opened up shortly and become essentially an open place for everyone to share their stories, dreams, hopes, wishes and even prayers. In the meantime i will post updates here as they happen - you can ask questions in the comments section also.
What's still on our "to-do" list.
- a slight change of colour - I love the rainbow but it's a little dark - so see that vanish this week.
- the return of the shuffle button
- a brand new answers section - that will blow away anything we've had before (estimated release on this is mid September)
- slightly more defined cards to make it easier to choose a card when doing a reading
- saved readings across the board
- bringing back the "who are you" extra astrological information
- finding a new ouija board replacement (the old one is just, well, too old to work on the new site)
- biorythms (this is very cool - cannot wait for these to be finished)
- re-establishing the igoogle page
- colourscope - monthly colour guide
- a view to facebook integration and enhanced community style features - like content ratings
So, now you can see how we spend our evenings, weekends and every other spare moment of my day.
Please do let me know if there is anything extra you would like to see and I will do my best to include it into the site.
Bright Blessings
Jen
